  • Elizabeth Seib, LMFT

    CLINICAL DIRECTOR | THERAPIST

    Elizabeth is a licensed therapist and Clinical Director at Stillwell Athens, specializing in the unique mental health needs of college students, young adults, and professionals. She supports clients who are navigating the complexities of personal growth while balancing academic, relational, and career demands.

    With a deep appreciation for the role relationships play in our well-being, Elizabeth integrates family systems work, parent coaching, and group therapy into her practice. She draws on evidence-based modalities—including DBT, CBT, and experiential approaches—to help clients manage stress, regulate emotions, and build resilience. Her approach is practical and empowering, offering tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

    Elizabeth is especially skilled at working with teens and young adults facing life transitions, anxiety, relationship issues, and family dynamics. She is also skilled in working with neurodivergent clients and assessing for Autism Spectrum Disorder. She helps clients explore and reframe the beliefs and stories that shape their emotional experiences, guiding them toward deeper self-understanding and growth.

    As Clinical Director, Elizabeth also provides oversight and support to the clinical team, ensuring that Stillwell’s therapeutic environment remains collaborative, effective, and client-centered.

    A proud Bulldog alum, Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from the University of Georgia. She completed a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University.

  • Andi Dangerfield, ATR, LPC

    THERAPIST

    Andi is a creative and person-centered therapist at Stillwell Athens, specializing in empowering individuals through the use of art and talk therapy. With a deep passion for collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds, Andi tailors each therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs, strengths, and goals of her clients. Whether through art therapy, traditional talk therapy, or a combination of both, Andi believes in finding the best form of self-expression to help clients move forward in their lives.

    Andi's therapy space serves as a catalyst for self-discovery, healing, and improved self-worth, especially for those who feel stuck or are questioning their life’s direction. Many of her clients identify as creatives, and Andi leverages the therapeutic process to help them break free from patterns that no longer serve them and reconnect with their authentic selves.

    She recognizes that therapy can feel intimidating, and her approach is rooted in compassion and support, helping clients navigate the complexities of their emotional experiences at their own pace.

    Andi graduated from UGA with degrees in Studio Art and Psychology. She holds a degree in Art Therapy from Florida State University and is licensed in Georgia, Texas, and through the Art Therapy Credentials Board.

  • Kathryn Anderson, MSW

    THERAPIST

    Kathryn has worked in mental health for 20 years supporting young adults, parents, and children through a variety of emotional and behavioral issues. She is passionate about mental health that includes the whole person.

    Kathryn works with all ages, especially skilled in working with adults going through a variety of challenges, including significant life changes, family/relationship conflict, and trauma. She understands that beginning is sometimes the most challenging step in one’s healing journey. She is skilled in providing a compassionate and connected therapeutic space for her clients, offering calm and centered care as they manage hardships and build their path forward.

    Kathyrn’s holistic view of people drives her commitment to individuals who are navigating life’s challenges, and her style is client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. She has seen people discover their internal resilience and build adaptive skills when they are in a safe and supportive environment. She works with her clients to gain clarity on their most important relationships–self, loved ones, and their broader community. Her approach is strengths-based, focusing on CBT and PMTO; she draws from principles of stress reduction, attachment theory, and mindfulness practice.

    Kathryn earned her MS in Clinical Social Work from the University of Minnesota, Duluth (the original Bulldogs) on Lake Superior. She holds an LGSW license in Minnesota and is working toward LCSW licensure in Georgia. Her background is diverse, from pediatric mental health outreach and running parenting skills groups, to developing clinical assessment for cancer center patients, and administering forensic interviews to child survivors as part of a wraparound investigative team. She most recently oversaw child safety and mandatory reporting training to volunteers.

  • Kim Rochwick

    ACADEMIC + EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING COACH

    Kim is Stillwell’s academic and executive function coach dedicated to helping clients build the tools and strategies they need to thrive both academically and personally. With a warm, strengths-based approach, she supports clients in developing essential skills such as time management, task initiation, organization, focus, goal-setting, cultivating a growth mindset and other essential life skills.

    Her professional background spans both healthcare and education. She holds certifications in mental health coaching, life coaching, health and wellness coaching, and executive function skill coaching, as well as being a Certified Autism Specialist. She brings a unique perspective to supporting clients in managing stress and building self-awareness as a certified yoga and meditation instructor. With extensive experience working with individuals who have ASD, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, and complex medical needs, Kim is deeply committed to empowering each client to reach their full potential.

    Kim works closely with students to create personalized systems for managing academic demands, breaking down assignments, and building routines that foster follow-through and self-efficacy. In addition, she offers personal coaching and life skill building, helping clients clarify their goals, develop practical strategies, and create balanced, meaningful lives. Whether clients come with an immediate challenge or long-term goals, Kim meets them where they are, providing focused support and guiding them toward sustainable progress in all aspects of their lives.

  • Danielle Hava, LCSW

    OWNER | INTAKE COORDINATOR | THERAPIST

    Danielle oversees Stillwell Group’s company operations and ensures alignment across clinical, administrative, and programming efforts. She personally connects with every new client—taking all intake calls herself—to ensure clients feel seen, supported, and understood from the very first conversation.

    Danielle brings a depth of clinical knowledge, leadership insight, genuine relational warmth, and an understanding of the mental health needs of teens and young adults to her role overseeing Stillwell Athens. With a career spanning direct care, admissions, counseling, and program development, she is passionate about helping young people and families tap into their inherent well-being.

    Danielle earned her MS in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University, following a BA in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Early in her career, she developed a strong belief in the healing power of relationships, having worked in inpatient, outdoor therapeutic programming, and transitional programs for young adults.

    Danielle and Dan’s shared vision for Stillwell is grounded in the belief that we are all inherently well, and the key to healing lies in developing the skills, tools, and relationships to tap into that inner strength. They created Stillwell to provide accessible mental health support that integrates into the everyday lives of young adults—without requiring them to step away from school, work, or relationships.

  • Dan McDougal

    OWNER

    Dan McDougal has spent over 20 years shaping the landscape of therapeutic programs for young people, driven by a deep belief that mental health care should be compassionate, individualized, and grounded in real-life connection. His career began in outdoor healthcare, where he helped pioneer approaches that brought clinical insight and day-to-day support into better alignment—work that’s now foundational across the field

    Dan’s passion for mental health in youth stems from years of witnessing the resilience and potential in young people when they’re given the right kind of support. He’s especially committed to creating spaces where students and young adults can grow without having to step away from their lives, their families, or their futures.

    Dan and Danielle founded Stillwell Group together with a shared vision: to create a place where young people could receive high-quality mental health care without having to pause their education, careers, or relationships to do so.
